The Future of Aelfgar Surgery: MP To Hold Open Meeting |
|
Tony Wright MP is to hold an open meeting in Rugeley to
discuss the future of Aelfgar Surgery on
Friday 14th July at
the starting
at 5pm. Representatives of Cannock Chase Primary Care Trust will be
there to answer questions from members of the public who are concerned about
the move of GP facilities from the centre of the town to the new Western
Springs health centre. Tony Wright said: “When I met patients at the Aelfgar surgery recently I undertook to arrange a meeting with the Primary Care Trust so that they had an opportunity to express their concerns about what is being proposed. It is clear that people greatly value the service currently provided by the Aelfgar surgery and do not want to lose it. I hope this meeting can try to find a way forward.” |
